COMMON QUESTIONS

Firefly Lights LLC is committed to providing our clients with exceptional customer service. We have laid out a list of questions that are commonly asked by our clients. However, if there is something that we have missed please feel free to reach out. We would be more than happy to address any of your needs and help you find clarity.

WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE COST?

The cost is an all-encompassing total that includes:

  • Install and takedown

  • All materials needed to complete the project

  • Mechanical timer

  • Custom fit length and colors based on your home or business request

  • Project materials are provided by Firefly Lights and owned by the client.

WHAT IS THE REINSTALL COST FOR THE FOLLOWING YEAR?

  • The reinstall cost will be 30% less than the initial cost.

  • If additional lighting or decorations are added the following year, we will add that cost to the discounted reinstall cost.

DO WE STORE THE LIGHTS, OR DO YOU KEEP THEM?

  • The lights and decorations are owned by the client and theirs to keep.

  • We offer a climate-controlled storage option for the year as an additional fee based on the size of the project.

WHY MOST INSTALLERS WILL NOT INSTALL LIGHTS THAT ARE NOT THEIRS

  • There are too many unknown variables with taking on another company's project that increases risk and liability.

  • Not all installers follow safe and clean practices in their work and the next company may inherit those problems.

DAMAGES, FIXES, AND MAINTENANCE

  • Problems that are out of our control like theft, weather damage, equipment not supplied by FireFly Lights, or any reindeer game destruction, we will assess the damage and communicate pricing.

  • Fixes and maintenance on the client's project will be addressed and taken care of in a timely manner by our team of colleagues at no additional cost.

WHY DO COST VARY FROM ONE COMPANY TO ANOTHER?

Cost can vary for many different reasons, but we'll try and list a few to help create visibility. The important thing is to make sure you're comparing apples to apples when looking at install companies.

  • Type of material being used - store bought or commercial grade

  • Types of LED bulbs used for the install

  • Size and difficulty of the install

  • Specialty lighting that may take more time and work

  • A well-established company vs a newly started company
