Every year we have put ourselves in a position to help kids and families that have experienced struggles within their journey. We donate our time, services, and materials to uplift spirits and create memorable moments through holiday lighting displays for those who need it the most.

A Growing Tradition

As a company who is powered by the blessings we have received, our goal is to give back those blessings to the people in our community and build a growing tradition where Lights of Encouragement illuminates the lives of more and more people every year.

A LASTING MEMORY

In our first year of business, we were approached to provide our services to a young, beautiful family. As the relationship was being established, the story unfolded of a husband who wanted to decorate their home for the holidays for his terminally ill wife and mother of two.

The strength of this family was remarkable and the tears streaming down our faces were undeniable. We were gifted with the opportunity to be a small blessing in this family's holiday season as it would be the last, they would share together.

WISHING MOM WAS HOME FOR CHRISTMAS

Sara, mother of 3, was diagnosed with a rather serious virus that kept her hospitalized during the holiday season. The fact that COVID was sweeping through the nation, hospitals were not allowing any visitors and therefore the family would not be together for Christmas.

A sorority sister of Sara reached out for a quote to have their lights done, explained the situation of what her and the other sorority sisters were doing, and we did not hesitate to volunteer this project to our Lights of Encouragement program.

With the help of Sara's husband and other family, we coordinated a surprise lighting event for the girls, and we couldn't have been more thankful for allowing us to do this for them.

A FATHERS HOME

This project of encouragement was based on a father's love for his son and wanting to do something really special for him for the holidays. What made this event special to us was that the landlord sold the house out from under this family, and they would be forced to move immediately.

Not knowing the immediate future for where they would go or what they would do, we wanted to make this a special holiday display that they would remember during the difficult transition that was approaching.
